Graphic Design

During my time in college, I have come to the realization that I had a wide range of interests- Business, Tech, and UX to name a few. A class in New Media Design was the perfect first step to help me learn about UI/UX. Throughout the semester, I have learned a lot about the various creative tools such as photoshop, illustrator, and Figma, where I have been able to create wireframes and high fidelity prototypes for projects. Finally, I have learned about the specific way people consume media and what relevant design choices are the most effective for various situations.

Project Yellow Light

The project that I would like to feature is one of the designs I created in photoshop for our project yellow light assignment. The main focus was to create a billboard to bring more awareness and to reduce the amount of texting and driving. At first, I had a lot of trouble with this assignment and did not know photoshop well enough to create a good looking and informative product. However, after meeting with someone in the industry and getting some one-on-one help over a zoom call, I was able to learn a lot and am proud of the design I was able to produce. The design is made to resemble a old street sign that has says "Text and Drive" on it with the "R" and the "V" crossed out in spray paint leaving the "Drive" to now say "Die".
